Excellent kababs esp Reshmi tikka kabab n Malai tikka too.Juicy ,Spiced Chicken with d right blend of taste n flavors’. Just awesome. my 3rd visit back 2 back n loving it totally .whenever there's an ultimate desire for chicken or kababs i always wil recommend jai jawan-jai kabab!!!!! The dal makhani one of its veg spl delicacies awesome thick n tasty.paneer soft n juicy with lots of gravy!!Love it all. Ambience lovely n good hospitality

Punjabi style Fishy Place.. For those shopping on linking road, d only reason to stop shopping will be the aroma of the fish all around link road.. It serves the yummiest Punjabi kind of fish prep. Rawas, Prawns.. etc.. d list is endless. Place is always crowded so a parcel wud be the best. Those people conscious of crowd pls dun make a visit.. D rest can have a blast.. coz its truly lip smacking..

This place is heaven for prawn eaters like me this place started with a small shack selling fried prawns with pao and now it has turned into a proper sitting place, but I still enjoy eating in the car with Mumbai rains. We ordered prawns, seekh and keema with pao and I don't know the pao in Mumbai a are soo fresh that they just melt in ur mouth and not to forget the a awesome chutney served along with it

The ultimate place for some amazing Koliwada Prawn Fry and Amritsari Fish Fry. I have been going to Jai Jawan since last 20 years. What amazes me is the consistency of the taste. I find the same taste every single time to go there. They serve awesome Koliwada Stye (with Ajwain) Prawn fry . Amritsari Fish Fry ( Ravas), Chicken Tandoor and Tikkas. That is it! That is the menu. Their Prawns and Fish are unbelievably good. Tandoori and Tikkas are not exclusive and you may find similar or better in other places. Something that one should not miss here is the Green Chutney that is serves with this fried stuff. Its made with Pundina and Onion and I its like no other. It superbly compliments with the Prawn and Fish and Pav. The only drawback is that its a stand and eat food stall, with very little place to get comfortable. Forget parking there. Overall a yummy , fast and clean eatery. Not very cheap for street food yet totally worth it!

Food is what matters, right? No difficulty finding this place. It’s got the basics right, the dining area has some 20 tables, nothing lavish but all clean and compact but comfortable. Limited menu with just the right number of dishes. All Punjabi tandoori dishes, a non-vegans paradise land. the price is definitely right. in fact it’s cheaper , but with a better offering than most places. Try it.
